Fuel Tracker

⛽ Fuel Tracker A free fuel log for Sri Lankan drivers. It turns your bank or card SMS alerts into a clear record of how much fuel you buy, what you spend, and how efficient your vehicle is. No account, no ads, no cloud. Your data stays on your phone. What it does Logs fuel purchases automatically from your bank or card SMS alerts (amount, station, date). A notification lets you reply with your odometer reading.

Imports old SMS from the last 90 days.

Manual records: add cash payments or missed fill-ups yourself, including backdated ones.

Works out litres from the real price: it uses the CEYPETCO price in force on the day you filled up. Price history is built in from June 2021 for Petrol 92, Petrol 95, Auto Diesel and Super Diesel.

Syncs prices from CEYPETCO daily or on demand. When a price changes, affected entries are re-priced from the effective date.

Multiple vehicles: track each by plate number, or see them combined.

Efficiency stats: km/L, cost per km and total distance (full tank to full tank), plus monthly litres, spending and efficiency charts. Install

Open it on your phone. If asked, allow installs from your browser or file manager. On first launch, allow SMS and Notifications. Android 13 or newer: if the SMS permission is greyed out, open Settings → Apps → Fuel Tracker, tap the ⋮ menu (top right) and choose Allow restricted settings. Then grant the SMS permission. Requires Android 8.0 or newer.

Privacy Your fuel records and prices are stored only on your device. SMS permission is used only to spot fuel transactions. Messages are never uploaded or shared. The only network request is fetching public prices from ceypetco.gov.lk.

Limitations SMS formats differ between banks. If your alerts aren't detected, you can still add records manually. Please report your bank's format (with account details removed) so support can be added. Prices come from the public CEYPETCO website, so they may be delayed or wrong if the site changes. Not affiliated with CEYPETCO or any bank.
